This is a Middle Eastern inspired wrap consisting of marinated chicken topped with tahini dressing. Sumac is a spice often used in this recipe made from dried and ground berries of the wild sumac flower that is very versatile and can be used in many dishes. Vegetarian Red Pozole

This recipe is a delicious soup that incorporates peppers, onions, garlic, hominy, cilantro, carrots, and lime. Pozole is a soup of Mexican cuisine, traditionally made with pork. Our vegetarian adaptation is made from a flavorful chili pepper red sauce. Other types of Pozole are green, made with tomatillos or other green ingredients and white, made without red or green sauce. Fried Rice

This classic Chinese recipe is sautéed brown rice & chicken, with carrot, bell pepper, and greens flavored with soy sauce and curry paste. Fried rice is traditionally made with leftover ingredients, especially day-old rice since it prevents a soggy end product. Joumou Soup

This dish is a flavorful stew that incorporates beef, carrots, squash, onions, potatoes, and cabbage. Traditionally, JouMou is made with beef marinated in Haitian Epis and pureed Kabocha squash with hearty vegetables like potatoes and carrots with aromatics onions, leeks, and garlic. This soup is normally consumed in celebration on January 1st, honoring Haiti’s revolution and independence.
