Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1-15 oz can beets
  • 1/2 C unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1 t honey

Directions

Mise En Place

  • Toast whole wheat bread
  • Drain beets and slice.

Prepare Recipe

  • Spread spoonful of applesauce onto each slice of toast
  • Layer sliced beets on toast

Serve

  • Sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey
