Bergamot Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 qt water
  • 1 T Bergamot, or 1/2 orange, sliced
  • 1 T mint, fresh
  • 1 T Marjoram, or oregano
  • 2 t honey, optional

Directions

Mise En Place

  • Measure the water, water, mint, honey, and the Marjoram, or oregano.

Brew the tea

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil and mix in bergamot or orange and fresh herbs.
  • Remove from the heat and allow to steep for 5 to 10 minutes.

Serve

  • Strain the tea and mix in honey (if using).
  • Serve warm or cold over ice.
