Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C brown rice
  • 3 1/2 C water
  • 1 t salt

Directions

Mise En Place

  • Measure out the rice, water, and salt.

Prepare Recipe

  • Combine rice and water in a heavy-bottomed pot.
  • Bring to a boil and add salt.
  • Reduce to a simmer and cover. Simmer for 35 minutes.
  • Keep covered and allow to sit for 15 minutes.

Serve:

  • Fluff with a fork and serve in the bowls.
  • Enjoy!
